Katie Plageman is a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer with over 4 years in financial service experience. In addition to her financial experience she has over 12 years of experience in industries where stellar customer service is priority. During her time in the Mortgage Industry she became passionate about VA loans as she is a Military Spouse herself. Having a true understanding for the ins and outs of military life as well as the stress that PCS brings, motivated her to find a way to better serve the community. She chose to grow her career at Valor Home Mortgage as it embodies not only serving the military community, but also educating each client on the home buying process. Being able to walk military families through a home purchase while having compassion for what they are additionally experiencing creates a service and understanding that you will not find elsewhere.

Katie is not only a military spouse but also a Mama to a sweet baby boy. Her husband has been serving in the United States Navy for 11 years and they are currently stationed in Norfolk, Virginia. Outside of work you can find her spending time with her family, traveling, taking care of horses and enjoying all of her animals.
